Hydrangea Garden

The beauty of a growing garden is one of my favorite themes. My hydrangeas bloom right outside my studio window. I made a study of the white Annabelles with the idea of making a much larger piece. The sketch always carries an honest emotion of the initial rendering and true colors. This finished study was a result of setting my easel right next to the joyous white balls of flowers blossoming upon the strong, stately stems.
